Oh, hello. My name is Sy Ence, but you can call me Prof. E. I was just on break, but I guess I can teach you about some of the basic forces.
One of those forces is gravity. It's constantly trying to pull us into the center of the earth. It's keeping me, you and everyone and everything on the ground Without it, we'd all be floating away!
Next is friction. It is created when 2 surfaces rub against each other. Without friction, these cars wouldn't be moving because the wheels would just spin aimlessly.
Next up, elastic force. It is exerted when an elastic material(something that returns to it's original shape after being stretched or compressed) is stretched or compressed. It's what allows bungee cords, like the one I'm on, bring the jumper back up after they jump.
Finally, there's magnetism. We can't see it but there's a magnetic field around the earth, and it's strongest at the earth's poles. It's the reason a compass always points north.
So, those are some of the basic forces that make up very BIG parts of our lives. 12:15 already?! Well, time flies doesn't it? That's all the time I have for now. Bye.
