this is my favorite scene. the scene can be found in chapter 1.
what 're they talking about???
we all know they're stupid!
DON'T TALK ABOUT MY BROTHER LIKE THAT!
you let us handle the fighting when it's needed.
meg had walked up the street and overheard two boys talking. she heard one of the boys say her brother was stupid. She stood there in silence for a few seconds.
She ran over angrily and pushed the boy to the ground and yelled," don't talk about my brother like that again!" she angrily looked at the other boy and walked away.
why should I be in trouble? THEY started it!
meg's mother was on the phone talking to the boys' parents, while the twins scolded her, " let us do the fighting when it's needed.". meg looked down in the dumps.
meg had been told by her mother that she needed to go to her room. she listened to her mom and walked up the stairs with a gloomy face.
Meg sat in her room angrily thinking to herself. she thought, ' why should I be in trouble? they started it!' while she was petting a kitten. she wanted to scream, but everyone was sleeping by then.
Meg walked down the stairs only to see her little brother, sitting on the chairs. "hi, meg" Charles Wallace says in a calm voice. she was a little surprised. Meg always seems to see Charles Wallace when she's upset.
