Storyboard Text

  • People who have lived during the Great Depression have yet to cease talking about the program that gave everyone what they needed the most.
  • Jobs.
  • *people bustling and working around*
  • Without the WPA, I wouldn't have survived during the Great Depression.
  • The Works Progress Administration not only gave us jobs. It also gave us hope.
  • The Works Progress Administration was around between 1935 to 1943 and gave unskilled jobs to over eight million people.
  • *people working*
  • The Works Progress Administration strove to end The Great Depression or get rid of it's worst aspects and that's exactly what it did.
  • It was beneficial towards getting people who can’t hold other jobs out of poverty and letting them create important facilities useful towards the community.
  • Thank you WPA!
