- "The house looked strange. It was completely empty now, and the door was flung wide open, like something wild had just escaped from it. Like it was the empty, two story tomb of some runaway zombie."
- Then, in an instant, in the blink of an eye, we crossed over from this wasteland into a place carpeted with green grass, with trees along both sides of the road and flower beds running down the middle of a median strip.
- Paul and his family are moving from Houston to Tangerine, Florida. Paul mentions that he will miss his home, but he is gonna be in for some crazy stuff ahead.
- Paul and his mom are on their way to Tangerine. While they were driving they caught some pretty amazing sights.
