The cat's meow was barely audible to Isabel which was deserted, and she found the small calico cat under her house. Isabel was so engrossed in the cat, she was insensible of Ivan watching her.

Isabel saw that on the tv people were leaving Cuba she considered leaving to disembark upon an odyssey, and if anyone wanted to leave there was no violation.
Everyone on the boat was listless from the storm but by the end of the trip, they would have immigrated to the United States. They sat stagnant on the boat for 3 days, and not many people were talking to each other.
After being jostled around for a long time and thought that they found refuge and respite, however the law stated that if any of them stepped onto the land of the Bahamas, they would be send back to Cuba.
