Good evening, my audience. I would like to preface the story I am about to tell with one fact... I am not crazy. I am telling you this story through the facts of what I saw that night.
You see, I lived with an old man who had a horrible eye. I was vexed every time he looked at me. I came to the decision that there was only one way to get rid of it.
On the night I was supposed to kill him, he suddenly woke up. He was scared and lay there awake for hours. I waited patiently, listening to his heartbeat, to my heartbeat. I was extremely wary not to wake him.
I decided it was time. I leaped forward and smuggled the matress over his body until I felt the ticking of his heartbeat stop.
I knew just what to do with the body. I first dismembered it, then hid each of the parts in the floorboards. I had done it with such suavity! My work was seamless!
The police are coming after a report of a noise, but I'm not worried. I have covered up any piece of evidence they could of found and my demeanor will convince them I'm not the culprit.
Well, we've looked everywhere and clearly, there's nothing here. I think its time for us to go.
I can't take this anymore. All I can hear is the sound of the dead man's heartbeat. I could've gotten away with this, but I can't take this. "I admit it! I did the deed!" I shouted.
