  • If you think about it Andrew Jackson wasn't a very good president...
  • So why is he on the 20 dollar bill?

  • Spoil System Jackson had got office jobs for all his supporters this makes him not worthy of being on the 20 dollar bill because it makes no sense to have people working as a government officail when they have no experience.

  • After chosen for President
  • May 28, 1830 Jackson decided to push all of the Indians to the west. This led to the Trail of Tears but this also had some people change who they are. This is another reason why he doesnt belong on the $20 bill.

  • President Jackson decides that the common man sould vote.he used this to his advantage because when the common man voted they would vote for him because they all see him as one of them.

  • States RightsWhen one of Jacksons colleagues came up with the nullification Jackson turned it down. The nullification was to have a tarriff and North Carolina realized that it was uncontitutional. This is another reason on why he shouldnt be on the $20 bill because of these mistakes.
  • We are going to have to declare the tariff unconstitutional.
  • Through Jacksons disicions he eventualy destroyed the national bank. In 1833 President Jackson took all of the the federal banks money and put all of it into state banks.
