  • The government build an organization that provide food or extremely low price food for the people who are unemployed and homeless. This is the "Soup Kitchen" in the era of Depression
  • We only serve bead and soup only. We also  put a lot of water in our soup so we can feed millions of people.  Enjoy.....
  • We are waiting for the food.
  • The government also distributed to the poor and unemployed called the "Dole." However, it provided for only about half of a persons nutritional needs.
  • But this is not enough...
  • Also, the government are scared that if the gave too much , people would become comfortable  to the Dole and stop trying to find work.
  • The great depression ended in 1939, when Franklin D. Roosevelt was elected as a president. He establish an organization called the "New Deal," its purposed is to improve the condition of the  people who suffer from depression. Also, when the World War II started it help to solve the 17 million people who are unemployed.
  • What ended the Great depression?
  • Therefore the prosperity returns to the country and people are once again happy.
