Storyboard Text

  • "It's not so very late. Sit down here, Torvald - you and I have a lot to talk over" (Ibsen 224).
  • "Nora - what is all this? Why do you look so stern?" (Ibsen 224).
  • "[...] you've never understood me. I've been dreadfully wronged, Torvald - first by Papa, and then by you" (Ibsen 225).
  • "What? By your father and me? The two people who loved you more than anyone else in this world?" (Ibsen 225).
  • "It's true, Torvald. [...] He called me his little doll, and he used to play with me just as I played with my dolls. Then I came to live in your house -" (Ibsen 225).
  • "That's no way to talk about our marriage! [...] That's unreasonable, Nora - and ungrateful" (Ibsen 226).
  • "I must try to educate myself. And you're not the man to help me with that; I must do it alone. That's why I am leaving you" (Ibsen 227).
  • "Oh, you blind, inexperienced creature...! [...] But this is disgraceful. Is this the way you neglect your most sacred duties?" (Ibsen 227).
  • "I have another duty, just as sacred. [...] Now it's all over. [...] I know I shall often think of you - and the children, and this house. [...] Good-bye" (Ibsen 232).
  • *Nora slams the door*
  • "Nora! Nora! Empty! She's not here anymore!" (Ibsen 232).
  • I am finally free
  • THE END
