  • Jackie Robinson was born on January 31, 1919, in Cairo, GA. Mallie Robinson was his mother and his father was Jerry Robinson. Edgar Robinson, Frank Robinson, and Mack Robinson were his brothers. His sister was Sharon Robinson, and his aunt was Willa Mae Robinson. His grandmother was Mallie Robinson, his kids were Sharon Robinson, David Robinson, and Jackie Robinson Jr. Lastly his wife was Rachel Robinson
  • His jobs were being an actor, a baseball player, a soldier, and a sports commenter. He went to the University of California, LA in 1939-1941. Then he went to the John Muir Technical High School.
  • Jackie Robinson didn't start playing baseball until he was 21 and ended when he was 26. Jackie Robinson made a movie about his life. He also continued to break down racial barriers after leaving baseball. Jackie Robinson won the National League Rookie of the Year award his first season. In 1949 Robinson won the league MVP award, and he was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962.
