Hi I'm Paxton. I want to teach you about how scientists, engineers, and mathematicians work together to make cereal. I chose this because I'm fascinated with processes and love watching many people's hard work all come together.
As you can see this mathematician does his part by using numbers and sybals to determane a perfect size.
Hi I am a mathematician. I use numbers and symbols to figure out the best possible amount to put in each box and what size to make the boxes.
Hi I am a scientist. I contribute to making cereal by using chemistry to find the tastiest formula.
Also this scientist makes the main product for everyone to build off of.
Wow I want to do something like that when I grow up.
Hi I am an engineer. I design the machines that help farm the crops, assemble the cereal boxes, and many steps in between.
I wonder if this is the only engineer helping with this.
As you can see more than one person can preform the same job in the same operation.
I'm also an engineer. I write computer programs to help scientists research the properties of cereal to keep making tastier, healthier, and more efficient cereals.
As you can see the phrase, "it takes a village" also applies to making a box of cereal.
