  • later on, transpiration occurs when water moves through a plant and its evaporation from leaves, stems or flowers.

  • gradually, precipitation occurs when rain, snow, sleet, or hail fell onto earth from the clouds.

  • finally, the precipitation runs off into lakes, streams, or oceans.
