Kunta Kinte was born in Gambia, West Africa in 1750. His father gave him the name eight days after he was born. He was raised into the air when he got his name
Africans betrayed their fellow Africans, helping capture them for the white slave traders. Kunta Kinta saw them take other Africans. He was able to run away and escape.
