It wasn't just Tom Robinson who had restrictions it was everyone who had a different skin color. It wasn't fair.
STOP SCOUT!!! ATTICUS SAID TO NOT GO IN THERE
I have to fix this
Tom Robinson was only different because he was a different skin color but that meant he was treated differently. Different from how i was treated, with injustice and no rights. This made me frustrated and for the first time I was seeing the world in another perspective
where are we?
ARE YOU CRAZY!
We are in Tom Robinson's house on July 5th, 1916. I will not leave until I warn him of what is to come
Why are you in my seat. Negros sit in the back of the bus
I noticed then that Tom Robinson didn't live a normal life as we presumed. Anyone could sit anywhere on my bus.
what a buffoon! you dirtied his seat.
I never really thought about why the negros always sat outside
Momma can we go inside it's hot.
No Blacks Inside
lets stay out here for now
There's nothing you can do about it. We have to go NOW!!
Scout, we can't live in the past. One day this will be different and everyone will be equal . I promise, one day...
It's unfair I tell you! we get to live normal lives but ones who look different get treated differently.
There was nothing I could do to change what will happen with Tom. I still wait for the day this is over and were all are treated equally. What I can do is prevent another situation like this from happening now that i know what its like to be in someone else's shoes.
I might not be able to change the past but the future I can. LETS GO HOME!!
