today class im going to tell you how a bill becomes a law
A bill starts in congress then the bill is sent to a committee that handles what the bill is asking
Then the committee debates weather or not to approve the bill if so it will go to the house and it will get debated
Then the bill goes on the floor of the house and gets debated. If it gets approved its sent to a legislative body then sent to a committee
then on the floor of the second house the bill gets debated again. If it gets approved by both houses it is sent to the president
then the president can sign the bill to make it a law or it can be veto that means it is denied to become a law
