  • Exposition: Step 1
  • "That's not true, my scars make me hideous."
  •  "Sara got too little medicine and she was left with scars. However, it did not matter."
  • Conflict #1: Rainstorm
  • "It's so cold... Wait, the necklace is glowing! Oh, there's a cave over there."
  • Conflict #2: Wolves
  • "Oh,this necklace is glowing again. There's a gap between the wolves, maybe I can dart through it!"
  • GROWL
  • In the ancient Kingdom of Sweden, the Queen (Sara's Mother) tells Sara a bedtime story of when Sara got scars from a disease.  Sara's Mother assures that it doesn't matter, but Sara thinks otherwise.
  • Conflict #3: Villagers
  • "Get away from us, Monster!"
  • Soon after Sara enters the dark, mysterious forest, Sara gets caught in a rainstorm in the middle of the forest and doesn't know what to do; however, the necklace helps her find a cozy cave to rest in.
  • Climax: Turning Point
  • "I shouldn't give up now;  even without the necklace, I came this far on my own! Wait, is the necklace glowing? Oh, it turned into a sword!"
  • All of a sudden, Sara encounters a pack of hungry wolves, but Sara's necklace helps her dart away through a small path.  However, she does not spot the cliff beyond it and tumbles off the cliff.
  • Boon/Resolution
  • "I'm glad I was able to rescue you, Mother!"
  • After she falls off the cliff, Sara finds a nearby village for help, but the villagers viciously attack her because of her scars and she nearly dies; Sara sprints away, but trips on a rock and accidentally breaks her necklace.
  • "I need help, I just fell off a cliff! I won't hurt you!"
  • Sara loses confidence because the necklace cracked, but after finding a picture of her Mother in a locket, Sara realizes that she is not worthless because she came this far on her own.  When she decides not to give up, the necklace fixes itself into a sword.
  • Ultimately, Sara's confidence helps her bring back the Queen and defeat the villain that terrorized the Kingdom.  It also helps Sara face others who brought her down.   Sara now knew she could do anything since she believes in herself.
