“Thou'lt not beg! Hast thou not begged the streets of London all thy life?”
Hugo is wondering why Edward is getting so worked up over begging when he has been begging his entire life
Edward is shocked when Hugo says that Edward has been begging his whole life, because Edward was actually royalty al his life.
“I? Thou idiot!”
