French and Indian War 1754-1763 The French and Indian war was a war between the Colonist and the natives. The colonist wanted to and began to expand on the natives land creating a war. The Colonists had to call the England army in to help them fight the war. while they won the war England was in major dept.
Proclamation of 1763 October 7th, 1763 The Proclamation of 1763 was a document created by England's government after the French and Indian War saying that the colonist could not move westward any further and the Natives could not move eastward any further to eliminate any more problems. Even though they had just won a war that claimed that land for the colonists
Boston Massacre March 5th, 1770 The Boston Massacre was a riot between Colonist that were now calling themselves Patriots and soldiers from England. The Colonists were complaining about the unfair rules and laws the England was putting in place without their input on the topics. "No taxation with out representation" they cried. 5 colonist were shot dead when the Loyalist shot off on them.
Boston Tea Party December 16th, 1773 The Boston Tea Party was saw out to be an act of justice against England and all of their unfair laws toward the colonists. The Patriots along with already boycotting British goods had dumped 92 thousand pounds of tea into the Boston Harbor. They took over 3 ships and dumped millions of dollars or tea into the ocean.
Intolerable Acts 1774 The Intolerable Acts were laws passed by British Parliament after the Boston Tea Party. These laws were suppose to punish the Massachusetts colonist for the Tea Party.
First Continental Congress October 26th, 1774 The First Continental Congress was a group of people made up of representatives from every colony other than Georgia. They were formed to act against the English government for unfair laws.
