Jumonville presents a document to George Washington claiming that they were not looking for a fight. As soon as George Washington realizes his mistake, Half King is running up behind Jumonville with a hatchet.
When Half King reaches Jumonville, he immediately strikes him in the head with the hatchet. Then he splits his skull into two and eats his brain. Little did Washington know, but this would start The French and Indian War.
The French and Indian War set the stage for independence in North America. George Washington would go on to lead troops and win in a fight against the British for independence.
