Midas turns a tree into gold
Bacchus asks Midas what he wishes for. After this they both go back to Midas's castle.
Midas turns his food into gold
Midas tests Bacchus by asking him to turn the stone statue into a gold statue. After this. Midas is granted his wish.
Midas turns his daughter into gold
The next day Midas changes his clothes and go's outside to see if his power works. He finds a tree and touches it and quick enough it turns into the richest of gold. The acorns turned into gold coins and they fell from the tree rapidly.
Midas weeps by the river
When Midas got home he was a bit hungry so he went and got some food. When he went to grab the food it turned into gold and he thought to himself "maybe this was more of a curse than a wish."
Midas's daughter, seeing his dismay, threw her arms around him to comfort him, and she too turned to gold.
Midas went to river and wept about his daughter. He said to himself "what have I done to myself, this is an awful curse."
