Storyboard Text

  • It is 1947, and everything is normal, here in China.
  • Not for long.....
  • I am Mao. I believe in communism, and making our country a better place for me and the citizens.
  • *tries to attack*
  • It is the year 1949. Now it is time for the Chinese Communist Revolution. ATTACK!
  • That was too easy. I am in charge. Now it is time for me to start doing things my way.
  • WAR ENDS UP SUCCESSFUL FOR MAO
  • Time for the Marriage Law, Trade Union Law, and the Agrarian Reform Law
  • The Marriage Law gives people the correct age to marry, do not marry before that. Men will marry at 20, and women at 18 years of age, at the earliest.
  • We are not allowed to marry because we are 17.
  • I also brought in the Trade Union Law and the Agrarian Reform Law, which allow 25 employees to form a trade union, and the latter helped landlords get more land/property, respectively.
  • I also give women more freedom, which includes banding feet binding and being forced to marry.
  • THANK YOU MAO
