Storyboard Text

  • The policeman approached Ron Wilson and Nichol John and asked them to go into questioning for the murder of Gail Miller.
  • Detective wants you guys to go down to the station for questioning about a murder.
  • They both took a turn in questioning about where they were when this crime was committed.
  • Where were you January 31, 1969? Were you ever separated from David Milgaard?
  • The next day, Ron and Nichol were talking in the hallway. They realized the only way to save themselves was to switch stories.
  • I told the cops the truth but they don't believe me. They kept me locked up all night. I got told that someone said David did the murder and I don't want to be dragged down with him.
  • Yeah, you're right. We will just have to say we saw David do it to protect ourselves.
  • They then changed their story.
  • Yes, I saw David do it. He ran off and then came back with blood on his pants.
  • At court, Nichol was nervous and answered many questions with "I don't know". On the other hand, Ron was very confident in answering the questions sticking with his story.
  • David was then found guilty for the rape and murder of nursing student, Gail Miller. Even though he was not the one to commit the crime.
  • I can't believe they lied!
