  • Act III Scene I
  • Hold, Tybalt! Good Mercutio!
  • Act III Scene II
  • Tybalt is gone and Romeo banished.
  • Act III Scene III
  • In scene one of act three, Tybalt approaches Mercutio, Benvolio, and Romeo. Romeo tries to make peace because of their relation, but Tybalt kills Mercutio. After Mercutio's death, Romeo killt Tybalt in vengeance. After Tybalt's death, the Prince banishes Romeo.
  • Act III Scene IV
  • O' Thursday, tell her, She shall be married to this noble earl.
  • In Scene two of act three, Juliet's nurse comes back with news of Tybalt's death. At first, Juliet believes that Romeo is dead, but she finally understands the blabbering nurse. Juliet is then torn between her love for Romeo, and her love for Tybalt. Juliet eventually decides that Romeo\s survival is preferable, but she is very upset because of his banishment.
  • Act III Scene V
  • Wilt thou be gone?
  • In scene three of act three, Juliet's nurse goes to Friar Lawrence's cell to bring Romeo to Juliet before he must leave.
  • Hie you, Make haste, for it grows very late.
  • In scene four of act three, Lord Capulet is arranging Juliet's marriage to Paris. Lord Capulet gives Juliet three days before her wedding, not knowing that she is already married.
  • In scene five of act three, Romeo and Juliet say their goodbyes and Romeo leaves before the sunrise. Juliet tries to convince him to stay, but Romeo convinces her that if he doesn't leave, he will die.
