  • This myth takes place at the Island of Crete. With Daedalus and Icarus, his son, and King Minos.
  • Climax
  • Once Daedalus finished the palace, King Minos wouldn't let him leave, because he was the only one who knew how to escape from the maze.
  • Falling Action
  • Daedalus grows unhappy and makes wings using wax and feathers to escape.
  • Resolution
  • Daedalus and Icarus were stuck, they were forced to stay in the palace until they die, although they were treated fairly.
  • Once they were in the air, Icarus became over confident and flew too close to the sun, even though his father warned him not to, causing the wax to melt, and he soon fell to his death.
  • Although Daedalus went home alone, him and Icarus still escaped from King Minos grasp.
