Siddhartha is Born/ Founder Siddhartha was born 563 B.C.E., but before he was born his mother had a dream. Siddhartha was either going to be a wise man or a great king, if Siddhartha left the kingdom he would see suffering and become the wise man. Siddhartha is the founder of Buddhism
Where it Began Buddhism, began whenever Siddhartha meditated under a tree. As he was meditating, a wicked god Mara tried to frighten him, she sent her three daughters, Discontent, Delight, and Desire. Siddhartha resisted all of them and kept on meditating, he then began a Buddha, which means the awakened one.
The Teachings One of the teachings is the Four Noble Truths, there is also the Eightfold Path. The Four Noble Truths is about suffering and how to give up desires.The EightFold path is about the correct way to do things.
