  • " Then hie you hence to Friar Lawrence' cell. There stays a husband to make you a wife" ( 2.6.73-74).
  • Romeo doesn't want to leave the Capulet's house so he leaves Mercutio and Benvolio behind. Romeo then hides out in the orchard behind the Capulet house when he sees the sun- Juliet- and vows his love to her. The two lovers part until the next day when they agree to their marriage in secret.
  • After the two lovers vowed their love to each other, Romeo rushes to Fair Lawrence and asks him to marry the two households together.  The priest gives a speech about love to Romeo before he finally agrees to bind them. It is only a matter of time that Juliet arrives at the priest's house.
  • When the nurse arrives to give Juliet the news that their wedding is today, she immediately runs out of the room to get married to Romeo. By later that day, Romeo and Juliet are now married. Juliet's father will no longer be able to separate them but Romeo will have to leave Verona for killing Juliet's cousin earlier.
