Alright class, today we will be talking about IP Addresses.
There are two different kinds of IP Addresses: Static, and Dynamic
What is the difference between the two? What does Static and Dynamic mean?
"Static" means non-changing. When you have a Static IP Address, it always stays the same, like the address of a home.
Dynamic, however, means constantly changing. When you have a dynamic IP Address, the address is always changing, like when you see license plates on cars while driving
Static IP Addresses are useful, because they make it easier to locate devices using that IP Address
Dynamic IP Addresses, although they are harder to locate, are more reliable and cheaper than Static IP Addresses
