  • Willy Loman is the tragic hero, and what makes him the tragic hero is his ability in the story to adapt to the story and at the end of it all have a tragic flaw.
  • Peripetia
  • Its really nothing biff, Shes no one to me
  • Willy's tragic flaws is that in his search and pursue of the american dream he did what he saw as the american dream instead of pursuing the things that he was good at and came easy to him.
  • Anagnorsis
  • Ben... I just need you to tell me that i'm doing the right thing with my life.
  • Willy denies his agony and struggling to keep his inner pride of doing what he saw as the american dream. He gives an example of this when he gets fired and soon after Charley offered him a job but no matter what he does not take the job.
  • Catharsis
  • We're finally free.
  • When willy is found cheating with the lady Boston and biff found out he gave up on everything. Then from there willy had no more success and only struggles and hardship.
  • Willy never realizes notices that he took the wrong path in life and that is a major factor that plays into him making a tragic flaw.
  • Willy, i walked into the jungle when i was 17 and walked out at the age when i was 21, and god was a rich!
  • The play comes to a dramatic ending with willy killing himself. Ms loman at the end says their free, she knows they finally payed off the house, but her and her sons are finally free from willy
