  • The World Series is the annual championship series of Major League Baseball MLB in North America Two teams from the American league National  league.                                                 
  • The World Series is the annual championship series of Major League Baseball in North America, contested since 1903 between the American League champion team and the National League champion team.
  •     Before The World Series
  • Professional teams began play in 1869, but it was not until the 1880s that  national championships were played. 
  •                 The First World Series
  • The 1903 World Series was the first modern World Series to be played in Major League Baseball. It matched the Boston Americans of the American League against the Pittsburgh Pirates of the National League in a best-of-nine series, with Boston prevailing five games to three, winning the last four.
  • Heroes and History
  • The all time great players such as Ty Cobb, Honus Wagner, and Eddie Collins. The Chicago White Sox of 1906 were known as the "Hitless Wonders" for their ability to win without getting a lot of hits.
  • The best Series ever?
  • It was the Boston Red Sox VS the Cincinnati Reds. It was a tied game in the 9th inning with Pete Rose coming up to bat.
