  • Dwight D. Eisenhower was the 34st president  of the United State's. His nickname was Ike. Ike did 2 terms which is 8 years. His first set of Electoral votes were 442 and his second set was 457.

  • For education Eisenhower went to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. Before he was the 34st president he was a general for the U.S. army.

  • One of Eisenhower's famous quotes was " Who's been counting my fish!" This quote came to be after Eisenhower went to Colorado. When he went to Colorado a angry newspaper headline came out saying that president Eisenhower was keeping more trout than the legal limit..

  • A Domestic Issue that Dwight D. Eisenhower had to deal with was Civil Rights with African Americans. Eisenhower believed that segregation should be stopped but processed slowly. In 1957 Eisenhower sent troops to Little Rock, Arkansas to stop segregation in a high-school.
  • A foreign Issue the Eisenhower had to deal with was managing the Cold War tensions with the soviet union under looming threat of nuclear weapons.  He also ended the war with Korea in 1959, then authorized a number of convent anti-communist operations by the CIA around the world.
