  • Oh no, my first nations project is due tomorrow and I forgot my social studies papers at school.
  • OMG WHAT IS HAPPENING!
  • Come see our homes, we will give you one of your own.
  • Look it is a person from another land.
  • Don't you mean Kanata
  • OK Mr. Henturn. The Algonquians live in Kanata, which is Canada but back when they spelled and pronounced it differently.
  • Where am I? And I'm not from another land I'm from Canada.
  • This is a longhouse, my peoples sleep in them.
  • Don't you mean Kanata.
  • Wow, all of this is going to be great for my project. How did I not recognize this place from the pictures in my book, this is Canada.
  • We are the Algonquians
  • We all have different roles. Men hunt and use weapons and women cook, sew and clean.
  • Now, how do I get home? When I get home I can write my report. 
  • This is our crop field, we grow corn and we fish for fish.
  • Two days later
  • Ok everyone Cassy will now do her report on the Algonquians. So students everyone is going to be quiet, when your ready Cassy.
  • OK
  • Sorry Cassy I'm going to have to stop you there. It's lunch everyone.
