On 14 July 1789, a prison on the east side of Paris, know for the name Bastille. The prison symbolized the abuse of the monarchy. The Bastille was attacked by angry and aggressive mobs. This event mark the beginning of the French Revolution.
On September, 5, 1793 to July, 28, 1794, the Reign of Terror was a period of violence. People who have the thought of going against or not supporter of the Revolution will be executed by the Guillotine. The Reign of terror took over 15,000 life and it was created by a person name Robespierre's.
In 1799, Napoleon Bonaparte came to power. Napoleon start out as a leader of the french army and rapidly rose through rank. Napoleon created a new constitution for France to help the 3rd from suffering that also help him win the election and became the Emperor.
