  • He deserves this!?
  • reason
  • Your useless

  • Why do you even exist
  • In the short story "The Cask of Amontillado", by Edger Allen Poe the two characters, Montresor and Fortunato, have a conflict between each other. Fortunato insults Montresor again and again, and Montresor cant take any more and wants revenge. He creates this grand plan to get back at Fortunato with wine which is his weakness.
  • evidence
  • Montresor's revenge is justified.
  • analysis
  • NO!!!!
  • Montresor's revenge is justified because Fortunoto is a jerk to him, enough to make him want to kill Fortunato.
  • conclusion
  • "Fourunato had insulted me. So I vowed revenge. Not in so many words,of course. Never aloud."
  • He will pay, I will get revenge
  • This quote shows that Montresor has taken enough of Fortunato, enough for him to seek revenge. This then tells us that Montresor's revenge on Fortunato is fair for what Fortunato has done to him and his family. Because, if it was a little thing once in-a-while Montresor seems like a guy who could take it and let it go, but to turn Montresor into a murderer it must've been a whole lot of insults. This shows that Montressor revenge is justified.
  • Yes, this is justified
  • In conclusion Montresor's revenge is justified and Fortunato deserved his consequence.
  • Finally revenge
