Hey Sukhi, have you ever heard of a guy named Fredrick Neizche?
Hey Neeta, no I haven't..Who is that?
He was a German Philosopher from 1844-1900. He valued critical thinking and questioning society's religious and moral values.
Oh ok, is that why you never ask questions in class? You'd rather work through the problems yourself?
Yes! Why do the rest of the student think that's so bad? I like to work through questions on my own. Like Neichze once said "You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.” (Goodreads,2020)
But why not just ask for help? It'll make everything so much easier!
How do I know if someone is going to give the right advice? They could possibly lead me into the wrong direction. I'd rather just do everything by myself
Neeta, have you never heard of Confucius, you know the guy that once said "Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated" ("BrainyQuote", n.d)
Confu-huh, who? Never heard of him
Confucius! He was a Chinese philosopher from way back in the old days. He believed in justice, kindness and sincerity.
Wow. He sounds like a cool dude, I'll have to look him up. Anyways I gotta run, see you later in our Philosophy class!
