  • The Rise
  • Ah the finer things in life. I shall spend this wee amount on this toilet but maybe later I will buy horses for my carriage or buy a new golden buckle for my shoe!
  • We the people are furious that the King persistently spends money he doesn't even have and on top of that he taxes us because we are poor! We are furious and outraged.
  • The Anger
  • Ladies and Gentlemen we must unite and end this burden upon us! Together we are no longer apart of the King and now we are now our own Nation! The National Assembly is our new name and together we will build a new nation!
  • The Natoinal Assembly
  • The start of the French Revolution started because King Louis XVI was spending way to much money even though he was in debt. Here it is pictured of Louis wearing fine clothing outside his palace literally spending money on a toilet.
  • The Plea
  • I have an important announcement to make! The 3rd estate has left us and is now their own nation! Brothers I cry for your aid as I alone might not be able to overtake them.
  • The 3rd estate was furious that the King taxed them outrageously where the 1st and 2nd estates didn't even pay taxed. They are taking arms and figuring out a plan to rebel.
  • The Last Stand
  • Get this traitor! Make sure he doesn't set sail!
  • At this point the 3rd estate have had enough of the King and decided " Why do we even need a king?" They decided to create their own estate and in this they would make their own laws. Also they had the majority of the vote for the estates.
  • A New Leader
  • As your new leader, Napoleon Bonaparte, there will be a dramatic change. I will change this nation for the better and conquer nations and bring power back to this country!
  • King Louis is extremely worried that he will be overtaken by the 3rd estate which is 98% of the population. He called a meeting as seen in the slide where he begs for the 1st and 2nd estate to help him take out the National Assembly.
  • In this photo King Louis is spiriting from an agry 3rd estate or now National Assembly because of all his bad decisions. He was sentenced to be exiled and in this photo he is trying to escape his captors.
  • At the end of the French Revolution King Louis had been exiled and there was about to be huge changed under Napoleon not only economically but the structural hierarchy and the territory were about to change as well.
