I am St. Francis Xavier. I was born on April 7, 1506, in the spanish kingdom of Navarre. I am the youngest of a noble family until my father lost his job. I was taught by my father's chaplain.
After my father's chplain taught me I went to the University of Paris. By 1530, I earned my title of magister. I then met Ignatious of Loyola. In. 1534, Ignatious and I formed a group called the Jesuits.
In 1537, I became a priest. I studied medicine, cared for the sick in hospitals, and preached wherever people would listen. In 1541 I began my missionary carrer.
I was then sent to preach in India. I landed at Goa and preached there for several months, baptizing several people. Then I began a series of journeys that carried me across India.
After working in India for many years I went to Japan, where I stayed for more than 2 years. I then made plans to go to China.
On the way to China, I fell very ill because of a fever. I died on December 3, 1552, near the island of Sancian.
