Can I have the 54th Massachusetts come get their $7 pay,
Black soilders were promised to mkae just as much as white soilders($13). Blacks were only paid $7. They originally made $10, but had $3 taken out to pay for clothes. Blacks had to pay for clothes, whites didn't.
