  • we use the wheel by attaching a coach to a horse/mule it can travel 20km/h
  • the second mode of transport is the boat, boats were invented so that people and goods can be transported over seas etc.

  • us vikings made boats that used sails and have up to 60 oarsmen rowing the boats later on boats evolved into ships
  • the invention of the steam engine was invented by thomas newconen and later on james watt invented the steam engine
  • the third mode of transportation is the railways, we use them to transport large quantities of heavy goods and people

  • the first commercial motor car 'T ford' was created in the 1900s in america it can reach 64 - 72km/h 
  • the fourth mode of transportation is motor run wagons, karl benz came up with the idea for this mode of transportation

  • the last mode of transportation is the spacecraft, it is the most exciting mode of transportation because it travels through soace. yuri gagarin was the first person to orbit earth in 1961
