(Me) hey can i go practice tumbling downstairs since it's darkIt's fine I've done it before
(Mom) i don't think its a good idea
(Me) don't worry i will
(Dad) you better be careful back there
(Mom) alright that's enough
(Me) oopsIt's fine
(Dad) OK i think you should be done
I love tumbling and I wanted to practice, but it was dark out , so I asked my mom if I could do it downstairs. She said it wasn’t a good idea, but I said it was fine, so I headed downstairs.
(Me) see it's fine...
(Dad) I really don't think.......
I went downstairs to the back and started to tumble. My dad said that it was a bad idea, but I said it was fine, so I continued.
(Dad) I knew this was a bad idea from the start, but you had to do it!
(Mom) What did you do!!! You’re going to be paying for this!
When i went to do a front walkover, my wrist rolled and i slammed down tot he ground. I hit the wall but it didn';t leave a mark. My mom and dad told me to stop but i said that it was fine, so i just went back to tumbling.
(Me) Here's the money to fix the wall
(Mom) Thank you, and i'm pretty sure you aren't going to be doing that again.
I went back to tumbling when my dad said that i should really stop, but before he could finish his sentence, i fell, hit the wall so hard that there was a hole in the wall.
Everyone came down and i was shocked and scared that i was speechless. My mom and dad were furious and told me i had to pay for the hole to be fixed, i agreed and they took my phone for a while as well.
(Me) (totally speechless)sorry
We went to the store, and i paid for everything to get the wall fixed and that made me more mature to never do that again. What motivated me was that i wanted to prove my parents wrong and i really wanted to get my front tuck because i wanted to show my parents i can do a lot more than they think. So i learned to listen to your parents even though you think you're doing it right.
