In the Paleolithic Era we hunted and gathered for food.
In the Neolithic Era we farmed for our food.
We live in a civilization. It takes five characteristics to be a civilizatoin.
In the Paleolithic Era life was really hard and dangerous. If you were a hunter than the animal you were hunting could kill or injure you. if you were a gather the plants could die off and then your job would be really hard. Also they lived a very Nomadic life they always were moving about.
In the Neolithic Era was still pretty hard it was easier then the Paleolithic Era but still pretty hard. It was very labor inducing and took up a lot of time. But it paid off they had a surplus of food and were able to settle down and have large populations.
Civilizations began to form because of the surplus of food which led to People settling down and having more people in there city. When the city was big there was jobs so everybody didn't have to farm. Then there had to be advanced technology. Then a leadership had to be established. Finally there had to be a law or religion.
