Storyboard Text

  • ACHOO!
  • OMG! Did she just sneeze on me??
  • After Jane was sneezed on by the stranger on the street, she inhaled particles of germ bacteria, causing the influenza to enter her system through her nasal cavities.
  • Mucus acts as the first line of defense, trapping some but not all of the virus. Unfortunately, some of the virus particles enter Jane's system.
  • As Jane's body works hard to fight off the virus, she will experience symptoms such as coughing and a high fever. It's important that she gets lots of rest.
  • Upon recognizing the flu virus as a foreign substance, Jane's killer t-cells will eliminate the threat through fatal absorption of the bacteria.
  • Pathogen (Foreign, Disease-Causing Substance)
  • Killer T-Cell
  • Now that the virus has been eliminated, Jane's Memory B-Cells will be able to recognize and destroy the same virus in the future, therefore ruling out subsequent infection.
  • All better!
