After a typical busride of fun, screaming, and only a little bit of throwing up, we arrived at the Bedouin camp, hidden away on the edge of civilization.
Are we there yet?
It smells like camel feces, so probably...
We broke off into partners and were introduced to the ADORABLE camels that we were to be riding.
We then rode the camels around the area in a line led by one of the Bedouins.
Try not to fall off when we sit down!!
After dismounting the camels, another Bedouin introduced us to his people's traditions and culture. We passed around a disgusting-smelling cube of goat cheese that he had made and watched him prepare tea.
We gathered around a bonfire and talked about politics, religion, and society in Israel.
I want food.
Finally, we had dinner, and then left for our hotel.
This tastes a whole lot better than that goat cheese!
