- The delegates arrive in Philidelphia after other failed meetings to finally fix the articles of confederation
- We are finally at the constitutional convention!

- Why are these meeting notes out in the open?!
- The whole constitutional convention was kept a secret to make it easier to fix the articles without the influence of the population.
- We need to come up with a plan to run our government better and be able to pay what is due while having the people not revolt.
- The government should be divided into 3 parts. The legislature should be of 2 houses where people would vote for representatives in the lower and upper.
- I propose, the Virginia plan. The central should have more power over the states and should be able to tax the states, overturn state laws, and have the union be able to go against the states if they are not doing their share.
- And I propose the Great Compromise, in which all states will have a voice in the upper house and depending on sizing, the lower house.
- But, what about slaves? Will they be included as well?
- That is why I propose the 3/5's compromise, 3/5's of the slave community will be counted for representation.
