  • Ethics is a "moral philosophy." A set of principles centered on questions of how people act or think. Computer Ethics comprise many branches.
  • The concept of ethics dates back to the days of ancient Greek philosophy. Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle have all applied ethics.
  • One branch: Normative Ethics, focuses on establishing the value of something. Right or wrong? Good or bad?
  • Meta- ethics focuses on the concept of morality itself.  The meaning of ethical judgments to understand the nature of statements and attitudes. 
  • Computer ethics is a holistic approach of social and professional conduct for what to do and what not to do in an on environment.
  • Applied ethics is another branch. It's a discipline of philosophy that applies ethics to real life. For example: Doctors, Teachers, Administrators etc.
