Exposition- Zeus and Hermes left there land to go to Earth. The two god's wanted to see how kind the people would be to rugged men.
Food is ready!
Conflict- The conflict of the story was that the people who lived in fine houses rudely sent the two rugged men away. This made Zeus and Hermes angry.
Rising Action- The two rugged men knocked on the finest houses and they rudely sent the two men away.
Climax- After getting rudely sent away they walked on a more poorly treated house owned by Baucis and Philemon. They welcomed the two rugged men into their home and feed them. Then the two elders realized their house guest where god's. They immediately asked for forgiveness of not preparing more of a feast instead of stew. The god's told them that their generosity compared to their neighbors needed to be rewarded
Falling action- the god's told them that they have a palace on the top of a hill. Within minutes the village they once lived in is gonna be flooded with water. The two elders offered the god's to let them be there priests as long as they can die together. The god's agreed
Resolution- Years and years of a good life together, the two elders begin to grow leaves in their hair and they started turning brown. They said their last word before their great lie together came to an end. The two elders became trees just right outside the palace.
