  • On June 12, 1942 Anne had received her diary as a birthday gift. Anne writes all of her thoughts and her experience through the Holocaust from 1942-1944
  • Climax 
  • One day her dad came home and told the family to pack a little bag because they would be moving into hiding from Hitler and the Nazis. They moved into the Secret Annex along with the Van Daan family and Mr. Dussel 
  • Falling Action
  • Inside of The Secret Annex it became very small and they had to be quiet almost all of the time. They were all very scared that they would be caught. After a while they got to know each other and the food supplies was very low since there was many people.
  • Resolution
  • The police had come because the downstairs level had been broken into. Meanwhile the Frank family and other people stayed quite because they knew it was the police. The man that worked there was arrested for hiding two other Jews. 
  • They thought the police where gone so they started to talk but the police were still there and the police searched around and found where they were hiding
  • They took all of them and made them leave their things and made them get out. Later they all went to concentration camps they all died except for Otto Frank.
