  • At 30 years old, Jesus started his own public ministry. He preached; performed miracles; and did good works.

  • Jesus helped the sick and poor and gained many followers because of his impressive acts.

  • The Jewish leaders wanted to get rid of Jesus, so they took him to Pontius Pilate, who was in charge. Jesus was put on trial.
  • Jesus was accused of blasphemy and sentenced to be crucified.
  • After Jesus' death, he was placed in a tomb. On the third day, his bodied was gone and a living Jesus appeared to his followers.
