Moses! Why do you cause us to thirst?
The water is bitter in the wilderness while the people thirst for the water. The people begin to blame Moses for thirsting the people.
The water at Marah is bitter and undrinkable to the people of Israel.
The people then arrived at Elim where there were twelve springs of water and surrounded by seventy palm trees. They camped at Elim during the night.
The Israelites believed that they should have stayed in Egypt to eat their fill of bread, instead of being free, just to be killed by thirst.
You have brought us to this land to thirst, Moses!
Moses led the Israelites into the wilderness known as Sin, between the land Elim, where the Israelites stayed after God gave them water, and Sinai.
