Physics Scientist Project

My name is James Maxwell and I was born in Scotland in 1831. My mother died when I was very young and I was brought up by my father.
I attended University of Edinburgh where I investigated electric and magnetic components and then I transferred to Trinity College and studied under WIlliam Hopkins. It was here that investigated properties of color.
After this I moved to Kings College and worked with Michael Faraday at Royal Institute and I elaborated on his findings regarding electromagnetism.
With Faraday, I observed a connection between light and electromagnetism. Through my studies, I discovered that charged particles that orbit an object with the opposite charge will emit the light corresponding to the object.
I converted my findings into formulas, which are now known as Maxwell's Formulas. Albert Einstein later used my work for the electrodynamic theories.
My findings helped create the Bohr atomic model because the charged particle moving in the orbital results in electromagnetic radiation. This also results in the electron losing energy.
