Take this equation and find the answer using these rules. The rule is called keep, change, change. It equals -19.
-10-(-9)= -1 9-10=-1
This first example is a negative minus a negative and the second is a positive minus a positive. This also uses the same reasoning.

This is a multiplication rap, so put on your learning cap. Multiplying positive by negative equals a negative sum, listen to my raps or you'll feel really dumb.
Multiplying a positive by a positive as you know, makes positive, but a negative by a negative does too though!
When multiplying negative by positive, you just multiply regularly. Since the rule is negative times positive always equal positive, the answer is -25.
-5 x 5=-25
